We have twelve graduating seniors this year representing three high schools. All twelve seniors have earned their Eagle Scout Rank and have plans to attend college next fall. We have athletes for scouts; these kids play the following High School Varity sports: swimming, soccer, volleyball, football, rowing crew, and lacrosse. Many of these boys are national honor society members as well as honor graduates. Some are members of a killer rock band. Speaking of Band, some are members of their high school marching band and drum line. We have ROTC members. Some of these boys have attended BSA's high adventure camps like Philmont, Northern Tier and Seabase ...we have one who has attended all three. All have attended summer camp with Troop 57. Most have spent time hiking the AT. Some of these boys were T57's Senior Patrol Leader. Many are members of Order of the Arrow. These seniors are well rounded and are outstanding representatives of our Troop and this community. Scoutmaster John McGehee has been there for all 12 of these boys; he should be commended for being an awesome Scoutmaster ...he and his tremendous ASMs have worked hard with all these boys, helping them be successful in scouting!
